About

Eorna is a painter, illustrator and teacher. She studied in Paris and Dublin, graduating in Fine Art from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin 1990.

She started her illustration work immediately after graduation . Some of her earliest illustrations were for The Sunday Independent Paper and subsequently The Sunday Independent Magazine. She continued to be a regular contributor for these publications until 2018. She has also been a contributor to Image Magazine and Press Up Hospitality group.

As an illustrator she has created an imaginative response to recipies: cookery articles and weekly featured articles Rude Health’ Also “The thing is …” weekly featured articles . Eorna has also designed menus and completed multiple private illustration commissions during this time.

Her media include colour collage ( done using hand painted paper with inks), Black & White tonal cartoons , tonal studies (using ink plus pen and brush) and watercolours for restaurant architectural facades and interior illustrations.
